Active Light Studios is a space where sound is shaped slowly and with care.

 

We work with artists at every stage, meeting the music where it is and following it where it wants to go. Much of our work lives in experimentation where texture, tone, performance, and the quiet details that give music its identity.

 

Rather than imposing direction, we help artists uncover their own voice. The process is collaborative, open, and free of stylistic boundaries.

 

Work created here has gone on to receive YYC Music Award nominations, along with Stinger and Rosie film award nominations, alongside projects for artists and composers around the world.
